Rainbows is a program which assists children coping with a significant loss in thier lives, such as parental separation or divorce, death or another painful loss. This program provides a safe, non-judgemental environment for participants to work through their feelings about their loss and to develop coping skills.
Rainbows groups have been well received and participants continue to benefit from sharing and learning from one another's loss experiences.
Trained facilitators are available in the Rimbey F.C.S.S Rainbows Program. While often delivered in the school setting; this is a community program that is available to all children. Age appropriate settings are offered.
Contact the F.C.S.S office or the Family School Liaison worker for more information or to check when the next program will be offered.
